Dairyland Youth
Legendary Milwaukee-based punk band, Dairyland Youth decides to shrug off a 17 year hiatus and record another album, which unleashes an uncanny chain of events. First is a show headlining the WMSE Music Fest at Shank Hall, the next night a 20 year anniversary show of their debut release “Germantown Manifesto”, followed by repeated play on 3 Milwaukee radio stations, then landing a track on the Nike Bauer website soundtrack, a few months later birthing a stop-animation video for crowd favorite “Monkey Repellent Pants” produced by Canadian award-winning director Sylvain Dumais, rolling into an impressive ‘Youth in Asia’ tour through South Korea and Japan, into another video for ’105.9′ and ending with a slot at Milwaukee’s Summerfest, “worlds largest music festival”.
As if that wasn’t fun enough, Westwerk designed every piece needed to make it happen…tell me that’s not cool.
